National Children’s Month is celebrated every November in the Philippines. This month-long celebration aims to give Filipino children access to a healthy environment, good education, and health care. This day highlights how important children are to society, and some still face many problems and difficulties in various aspects of their lives. The purpose of this celebration to invest in their future, improve their well-being, and make the world a better place for them. It also highlights the ways in which we can help and support them.

Children’s rights include the right to health, education, family life, play and recreation, an adequate standard of living and to be protected from abuse and harm. Children’s rights cover their developmental and age-appropriate needs that change over time as a child grows up.
